On Sunday 7th March there will be an installation/performance event at the Great Bath, Pump Rooms, Bath devised by visual artist Alex Hoare.

This installation event takes imagery and video projection, soundscape and live performance tableaux from the current Explosive Acts production of Othellophobia and juxtaposes this with other imagery associated with Shakespeare’s play. It places these in the beautiful and historical setting of the Great Bath. The resulting experience will create an unforgettable evening for all.

The intention is to create an interaction and layering of site, history, memory and imagery through the use of painting, projected imagery, live performance and sound which relate to bothe the site, in this instance the Great Baths at Bath and the play.

This walk through event will include drinks and refreshments, and will run for two hours. The audience can come and go as they please throughout the event, and having experienced the installation, they will then be able to go over the following two nights to the production of Othellophobia at the Ustinov Studios with memories of the event lingering in their mind.
